This article helps startups in applying for tenancy on the Open Constitution network. Here are the steps:

STEP 1: Submit the application for an Open bank account.

Please use an official email address, which is created on the registered domain name of the startup. Startup applications with personal email addresses will be rejected by the AI.

Upon Submitting the application, you shall see the below response on your screen.

Upon submission of the application, in most account cases, you shall receive an email requesting Activation as below;

Follow the instructions(Click on the button with the link) in the email and set up a password.

Exception: In some case, an Account creation might get on hold by the network AI for a manual review: AI needs human assistance for case processing.

You shall receive an email like below. Don’t worry. Please wait for 7 working days and the status may change. Change in status will be notified by email.

STEP 2: Congrats! Account is Active. Please Login

Exception: If your Account was held for manual review by the Network AI and was finally approved, you should receive an email like below, with instructions for login in and setting up your password.

You can visit https://www.open-bank.org/login/ or follow the instructions in the email to Login by setting up your Account Password. Note: Once logged in, you will be required to setup 2 Factor Authentication to access any Trust keys. Read User Manual here.

Step 3: Place Request for Startup Tenancy Lease

Email Activation takes you to the next step https://www.open-bank.org/e-lease/startup-tenancy-lease-open-constitution/.

Please select your team size and Place Request. This will provide you and your team members Trust Key and API activation limits to access network resources.

Note: A Nominal Fee is charged to maintain the electronic ledgers for the lease records.

Please Enter your Full Name and Address of your Startup and authenticate this Transaction.

Unfortunately, a Vault Account is yet not active until a Startup subscribes to a Tenancy Lease, So you can only pay using a Credit or Debit Card.

Request Account Verification:

In certain cases, your account may require to be verified, e.g to receive benefits which require account to be verified, as part of network policy.

To request verification, once logged in, please click on Request Verification in Account Settings.

If your account is verified, your startup should receive an email like below.

STEP 4: E Lease is now activated.

You will be notified by email when your E Lease is activated. This is generally done within 7 days.

A vault Account is now setup for your Startup Account and API keys are available for use, in your Account Console.

Visit this page for accessing Trust keys. Here you can manage your Trust keys(API) linked with your E Residency or Tenancy account, access your API Downloads, and any other E lease Downloads.
