a. Mifos X is the Intellectual Property; renamed to Apache Fineract and donated to Apache Software Foundation. Mifos X was initially fiscal sponsored by Software Freedom Conservancy.

b. License of Mifos X has been changed from MPL 2.0 to Apache 2.0 during this transition.

c. Community governance model changed from Mifos Foundation to Apache way.

d. Most of the project dependent applications are still licensed under MPL 2.0 and maintained by Mifos Foundation.

e. The project discussions are connected and documentations have been assessed to be highly scattered.

f. There is an ongoing effort by the Apache Software Foundation PMC to bind the Apache Fineract(Mifos X )to Apache Software Foundation’s governance model, as if the project’s Intellectual Property is entirely owned and controlled by the public charity Apache Software Foundation.

g. In the public facing records, non independence in the Project definition of Apache Fineract has been disclosed inter alia private affiliations of volunteers in Apache Software Foundation.

h. In the public facing records, some stakeholders with private affiliations are observed to benefit from meritocracy of Apache Software Foundation, with first PMC appointments, during the transition.

Identify whether issues concerning solution licensing, and compatibility with other open source component licenses remain or not, when and after, the licensing has changed for Mifos X, from MPL 2.0 to Apache 2.0?
What are the underlying effects on the Intellectual property rights of contributors, after the change in licensing from MPL 2.0 to Apache 2.0?
Is there any open, public litigation against the Mifos Foundation, Apache Software Foundation or Grameen Foundation, in connection to the Intellectual Property or components thereof, assigned between the organisations?
